Buzz Andrews Sports was born out of a simple frustration: schools needed quality pole vault equipment without the big-box markup. Buzz Andrews — Arkansas athlete, Arkansas Track and Field Hall of Fame inductee, and 56-year coaching veteran — set out to change that.
We carry the ESSX Launch (fiberglass, 9 ft–11 ft) for developing athletes and the ESSX Recoil (carbon, 11'6" and longer) for varsity competitors, and work directly with schools, athletic directors, and coaches to match the right pole to the right athlete. No upselling beginners on carbon. No sending varsity vaulters out with a fiberglass pole they've outgrown.
